A Lovely Halloween

I’ve gone through some Halloween phases.. From thinking we shouldn’t do it at all, to attending the “harvest fest” at church, to our current situation of dressing up and getting some candy.

How can I ignore the lovely in my children dressing up in cute costumes and smearing chocolate on their faces?! It’s the best, sugar-filled lovely!

We bought The Nightmare Before Christmas last week. We were thinking maybe our 7 year old could watch it, but we wanted to screen it first. Uhm, I did not remember the existential questioning of life. I feel you, Jack.

“Just because I cannot see it, doesn’t mean I can’t believe it!”

Happy Halloween friends!

I’ll leave you with this gem.
